Growth isn’t limited to our business — our people are growing, too. The best things come from the best people, and that’s why we invest in our employees just as much as they invest in the success of our customers. In 2020, we added several new ACRT Pacific operations managers. Meet the team!
“Being part of the ops team has been a fantastic experience. There are many challenges that come along with the job and every day I learn something new. It really keeps me on my toes and helps me stay sharp. I have had the opportunity to participate in many new tasks that put my own skills and knowledge to the test and help me grow personally and professionally, in addition to utilizing the skills I have gained outside of the UVM industry. I am happy to be a part of this team and to help grow ACRT Pacific.”
“Taking on this new role with ACRT Pacific in 2020 has been interesting to say the least. It has been tough at times — during the pandemic — but we all made it through together as a team. I am ready to see what 2021 has in store for us and make this year even better than the last.”
“In my 14 rewarding years with our company, I have served in many roles with ACRT Pacific including consulting utility forester and senior consulting utility forester; operations manager in Northern California, Oregon and New Mexico; human resources; safety and fleet manager; safety committee chair; and Area Safety Representatives lead. In 2018 I pursued an opportunity outside ACRT Services in the disaster restoration industry as an HR professional and was very excited to return here in 2020 as operations manager.
It is our dedicated team members that inspire me every day. I am dedicated to developing and supporting team members, strive to perform our best, and make right decisions that are not always the easy ones to ensure we all go home in a better condition than when we started the day. We grow stronger every day through the efforts of every team member, and I look forward to our next adventures!”
“The operations manager role has been a trying one this year amid a pandemic that has affected the way we work and live in so many ways. This year has been quite the roller coaster, full of ups and downs, successes and failures. Through hard work and perseverance, we have remained successful and have been able to grow our team, our skills, and our client base. Now that 2020 has come to an end (finally) I look forward to the next year with our company and the successes we will have.”
Ian Laffranchi“I’m still learning the role of operations manager. It’s been a wonderful, challenging, sometimes frustrating experience so far. I think the most important part of being the manager is to remember that your success is tied to your team’s performance and that is tied directly to the way you lead them. Relationships built on trust and respect are the only way we can be successful.”
